Beware Vivo v15 users. Do not buy this product. Moza mini s is not compatible with Vivo V15 or Vivo V15 pro smartphone. I am not sure how they are claiming it to be compatible with all android smartphones. i am facing a major issue while balancing my vivo v15 pro and could not use the gimbal even for a single video shoot. The problem is when i properly balance my phone on the gimbal, the 3rd motor is covering 1/3rd of my screen and when i am trying to shift the phone away from the motor so that it doesnt block my view, it becomes left-heavy and the gimbal arm keeps falling down and the gimbal goes into standby. my phone weights 184gms and width is 74mm but still it doesnt support the gimbal (check image). I am returning the product just after 1 day of usage.

Don’t expect to get shots similar to that of a scene from a Tarantino movie. It does it’s job of stabilizing the shot, and nothing more than that. If you’re phone has it’s camera module in the centre, then you’re going to face difficulties. I’ll elaborate below.
PROS:
1. It’s an authentic gudzen product. The box contains exactly what you see on Gudzen’s official site.
2.It’s a gimbal. Its supposed to stabilize the shots right? Well, it stabilizes the shot. What more do you need?
3. Its small and portable, which is a huge positive.
4. You can set this up in less than 30 seconds if you know what you’re doing.
5. Great value for money.
CONS:
1. It’s very finiky. It has this weird rattle at times that I just can’t seem to get rid of.
2. You can easily damage the motors by mishandling it.
3. The roll axis sometimes gets in the way if you have a smartphone with the camera module in the centre.
4. If you have an iphone XS max , Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ or any plus-sized version of the base model, I’ve got bad news… you’re going to get shafted. It supports smaller phones, lesser than 6 inches.
OVERALL:
Let’s be real. If you had cash.. you would by DJI. But, you’re on a budget, and you need a gimbal that’s internationally acclaimed, then, the Mini-s is the perfect option.

As far as a portable gimbal goes, this Moza Mini MX works great and performance wise even rivals my more expensive full sized ones. The portability on the gimbal is one of my favorites features, it easily collapses into a small package that can be tucked away without taking up much space. It is still too large to fit comfortably into a regular sized pants pocket, however it easily fits into a bag or satchel. Unfolding the gimbal is a simple process and the smartphone clamp is quite substantial. It has thick grippers on either side with a strong clamping spring, and accommodated my 6.5″ smartphone without any issues. Balancing the smartphone in the clamp takes some trial and error for the first time, however I found for the most part the gimbal is not overly picky how well you actually balance it. The gimbal also comes with a small tripod which does a decent job at keeping it balanced, otherwise it uses a standard 1/4″ thread on the bottom to attach other accessories.
Firing up the mobile app for the first time I did have to upgrade the gimbal’s firmware which took a few minutes, otherwise the menus and functions are quite intuitive. Most of the functions can be controlled using the gimbal’s buttons like camera zoom, switching between rear and front camera, recording, etc. You can also quickly toggle between landscape or portrait mode automatically with the app responding in kind. The app also supports pre-made scenes where the motion of the gimbal is already configured and walks you through different actions to create mini films using small segmented videos that are compiled together at the end. The list of available scenes is decently large and each one offers a different theme that is overall quite interesting and fun to play around with.

A really good budget friendly product.
East to use , more stabilized.
Give your video a cinematic view .
Built quality is really impressive can just go for the product without a thought.
Only drawback is while using a wide angle lens , the arm is visible.

Well to be honest in order to get really stable and cinematic footage one needs to have a lot of practice . If one thinks merely buying a gamble will make your shots look cinematic and smooth you are living in a fools paradise. This gimble is as good as any other gimble just practice to get good shots else you will definitely regret.

I wouldn’t advise buying this. Mine worked well for a few months and then just stopped functioning. Trawled around FB and online forums and found that this appeared to be a common problem. Nobody seemed to get a response from the manufacturer. Ultimately this doesn’t reflect well on Amazon who sold the product.
Am sure the product is still within warranty but who’s going to honour it – Amazon or Moza? Am going to try with Amazon but I’m not holding my breath.
And WHAT is ‘Sheerness’ as a measure of quality?

Don’t go by the reviews on you tube and some of the sites.

I wonder the product is original. In the first minute itself, the gimbal vibrates and goes off balance. That too without even any phone loaded.
Is it a joke!

I bought it, took it on a trip and returned it promptly afterwards because of the issues that I faced while using it. Here’s the cons:
1. Roll motor comes inside the shot whenever you start shooting wide video (which is default for 4k videos on my OnePlus 6). Adding the video where you can see the issue.
2. If the motors hit their limits (beyond which they won’t turn), 50% of the time, you have to restart the entire gimbal.
3. The other 50% of the times, the app disconnects instantly and you’d have to reconnect the app.
4. The app (at the time of writing) is not polished enough for beginners.
5. The modes are not intuitive placed on the controls. You’d have to memorize what button to press to switch from the get go (steep learning curve).
Why I’m giving it a 2 star and not a 1 star: For people who have DSLR gimbals or are familiar with Moza Gimbals from elsewhere, they might find most of the quirks of this gimbal easy to work around. So, the fact that this cheap gimbal is the best rated in it’s category is great for those guys to have as a backup. Trust me, I know it from a friend.
But for people like me, who just started out creating, it might be better off to buy something else. I ended up buying DJI OSMO Mobile 3 and I love it (other than the fact that it takes longer than Mini S to start and setup).

This gimbal is brilliant…just a shame the app is not up to the same standard..
EverythingGadgetPro –
I would definitely suggest the product because its cost round 6000/- moza mini s Gimbal comes with YAW, PITCH,ROLL 3axis
Which can u to shoot good quality videos without disturbance.

After going through lots of YouTube reviews, I decided to buy Moza mini-s and I guess I made a right choice. Moza mini is value for money. Plastic quality is very rich. Fit & finish is excellent only concern is it may take time for some people to learn the operation. They are bit tricky but you can learn them from youtube tutorials. It gets calibrated very easily. Anyone thinking of buying gimbal should buy Moza mini s.
