This is a great bit of kit. So far I have used it in the house with the kids and also at my sons basketball match. The app is easy to use and the gimbal links to it to so you can record and zoom and many more setting. Great little gadget

I have been using it since 15 days, with my Samsung S10 light. So far so good. No issues noticed. Stability is good, you can see the sample video I have attached. Battery back is also good. I have covered whole day shots in one charge with smaller clips. It has C type charger port helps you charge the gimbal faster and you charge it with power bank when ur are out . All the shooting modes works without issues.
What I missed is a magnetic phone holder. But at this price I am happy .
One issue I noticed is when I shoot verticle with wide angle the gimbal’s arm is visible. I am yet to find a way to eliminate it.

The first one had a lot of issues, right from the start. Bluetooth wasn’t getting connected, and even after full battery charge, it was getting discharged quickly. I checked and rechecked, after I had installed the app and followed the connecting instructions to the point, but still the gimbal wasn’t working as it should be, I thought it was a defective piece. So I requested for a replacement.
The second one which I got after the replacement: 1) No plastic wrap present unlike the previous one. 2) The packaging seemed old and it was torn on 1 side with the manufacturer sticker worn out. 3) The gimbal seemed to have been already used as it had multiple scratches. (I have added pictures to prove my allegations). Hence had to return the second time too. Now am wondering whether I should order or not.
I have been a loyal customer of Amazon for quite a few number of years, but this type of service was largely unexpected.

Excellent. Great to use. Can lock all 3 axis or 2 or 1. Handle has built in power bank you can charge phone from. Software is very good too. You can choose to follow an object. Do time lapse. 189 or 360 panorama. I was using with Galaxy note 9 and just tried it with the note 20 ultra and it can even balance that.

Device is not bad. But the issue is with the application which we suppose to install. Its not working with my Vivo V9 youth at all. I tried to contact with the techinical support, even I mailed to the developer of the software. But no response from both side yet. Unfortunately decided to return the product. Really waste of time for me.
Guys pls check the app compatibility (‘hohem pro’ app) before purchasing the gimbal. If your phone supporting the app, then step forward.

I’ve used this product for more the 2 months and I did pretty good research before buying it so here it goes
Pros:
1. Light weight and thus easy to carry and shoot
2. The stand is very handy and conviniently fits in the pouch.
3. There are lot of modes you can juggle with while shooting.
4. Gives a good stability while running, climbing stairs or walking.
5. Captures your voice as well… Not so sure if this enhances my mic in a way but have observed better audio in my records.

Con :
1. if your phone camera is in middle then in inception mode it does capture the stick in end which u can crop later.
2. Few modes from the app are not working that great. For instance timelapse will work on time duration set but if u want to stop before the end time you cannot do that.
3. Zoom in and out isn’t working.
4 if you’re recording in a heavy windy area like Leh there won’t be a stability.
5. Capture button doesn’t work most of the time and I have to click on mobile to capture. Is a problem if you’re wearing gloves.
6. MOST IMPORTANT : Drains your mobile battery very quickly

Still needs testing, its not mature enough, don’t know whether I get faulty one or what, but it is not working as expected, app and gimbal both are not communicating properly,
Gimbal is not moving properly as we want but it’s moving on its own .
I had too much expectations but it’s not even 50%
I have redmi k20 pro I used it with wide angle cam but it’s motor is visible in it as mentioned for wide angle but I didn’t found wide angle useful for my device.
Mobile app is crashing every now and then.. also check mobile app review in Google Play Store
Better you spend more and Go for DJI osmo 3 or 4 don’t expect much from this, this is too delecate to handle.
Getting start vibration at any time.. even when I properly balance the mobile

per ora sono molto contento di questo stabilizzatore, avevo un po di dubbi, dato il prezzo ma non ho avuto nessun problema di accoppiamento bluetooth con il mio huawei p10 lite, pe il resto fa quello che mi aspettavo, io utilizzo soprattutto la modalità 3, per ora tutto bene

ha ha ha so cute this gimbal is, i own two electronic and one manual gimbal but, this is very light. u can carry even in crowded place without seeking anyone’s attention.
you can also use Gopro buy just adding some weight for 60 to 80gm underneath the holder.

Always a issue while connecting the app through bluetooth.
Crappiest App ever seen. App hangs and Video recording will go for a toss. Undependable app. Go for better versions. Dont waste money.
Use without app for basic stabilised video.

This is impressive product in the market. After lot of research I chose this gimbal for my mate 20 pro smartphone. It works perfect very smooth again saying it is very smooth in handling. For negative reviews, I need to say one thing. Please guys refer user manual manual and working principle. It’s one of the best gimbal in the market right now. Please make sure to place the phone correctly before you start using which will operation smooth. Tips – I use ruler app which guide me to place the phone at the center of holder. No motor sound on the gimbal its quite during operation
