First when I received the product, I was shocked and disappointed to find out I received the product with micro UsB B port , which other reviews and quora has been mentioned as fake.
Then to verify I registered the product on Blue website, which got registered successfully with 10-12 hrs.
The Blue Sherpa app detected it automatically.
Further there is a mention in Reddit pcmasterrace ..where they ssy that blue refreshed the product with the new connector
And if you look at the latest YouTube videos in Blue channel. All the devices now have micro usb B.
The TL;DR – The connector is updated to micro usb B connectors and is not a Fake product and please stop panicking.
Coming to the product, it is amazing, noise cancellation works beautifully. Looks pretty pleasant. And Extremely easy to work with..Plug and Play. Additionally You can use the Sherpa app from Blue.
Hope this helps potential buyers… Go for it. There’s no fake.

USE WAVEPAD. ANDORID APP FOR RECORDING.. AND SET RECORDING LEVEL AT LOW. IN SETTINGS.
AND YOU WILL GET CRYSTAL CLEAR SOUND IN MOBILE TOO…
ND FOR VIDEO RECORDING..
USE. OPEN CAMERA.
SET AUDIO SOURCE .. external mic. If available.. u will get awsm sound quality in recording 🙂

I work in TV production as a profession. I’ve bought this for personal usage but have used the Blue Yeti mics a lot at work when directors are recording guide com for their films.
The Yeti has a reputation as the go-to USB mic for non-broadcast or budget broadcast com records and the reason for that is it’s a high quality mic.
As I bought this Snowball for personal use, couldn’t quite warrant the over doubled price tag of the Yeti but I have to say, in terms of quality, there’s very little difference in it. This is a superb microphone for spoken word and unless you specialise in sound, I’d be surprised if you could really tell the difference between the two.
I also got it in Black and it looks fantastic. The one thing I would say is it is a lot larger than I had expected when ordering (A little smaller than a hand wrapped around a fist) but you soon get used to it, and as it looks so good anyway, this isn’t such a problem.
The tripod it comes with is great and doesn’t seem to pick up much vibrations from the table.
I personally have only used this for spoken word but have seen videos of people using it for music and it seems to stand up well.
If you’re after a microphone for YouTube channels, voice overs or anything spoken word, but can’t warrant the >£100 price tag, this is the one to go for!

Well this was super disappointing. I bought this as it came highly recommended for someone who is just starting to record videos and didn’t want to invest too heavily. I even bought the extra pieces such as a mic stand and pop filter. Set everything up and it looked good!
I started to test immediately, and well the volume it picks up is ridiculously quiet. To get any normal level of sound you have to practically be eating the microphone, this of course means your audio quality is terrible and you have to have it pressed into your face. I desperately tried to find any fixes assuming it was my fault at first, the more research I did the more it became clear that this was a known technical fault with this model. Amazon offered a full refund or replacement so that was alright but it seems a bit of pot luck whether you’ll get a microphone that works or not. I took the refund and I’m still looking for a better microphone.

Thing is we get 1st copy of this product from China in the Box, I have been working with chinese products since long so i know, they make very good copy, so how i know about this product ? Serial Numbers are different on the box and on the product, and as well as we have to register the product on Original Website on Blue Microphone.
you can check how original product comes with the USB type B cable and see the backside of the mic.
So this Records our Voice fine. But this is surely not the Original Product directly made by Blue Company.
I wont suggest to order this product from This seller or in matter of fact from Amazon. better you check by yourself in shop and then only buy.
as they charge the same price and get duplicate products.

I LOVE this microphone. And even though I already loved it, it got 200% better when I got a boom arm that clamps the desk and puts the Snowball mic next to my face. Got a pop filter too. Now I can record super clear sound… it even sounds pretty good with my laptop fan running and AC running the background (I remove background noise with Audacity). Also… in the video recording I did I have a major cold. Sorry.

Previously I have used three Microphones (Generic Dynamic, AKG, Sound KIng Beta) They were just ok type to me as I am an You Tuber “Android Mechanics”. But when I got the Blue Snowball Ice, It really changed my mind. When I used for the first time, The Recorded Voice quality was so good that I myself didn’t believed that it was recorded by me! It was really mind blowing for me and the best thing which I like about this is the Clarity of its recording that too without any Editing. If you are looking for a good mic for Recording Karaoke Songs or If you are an You Tuber like me then this Recorder will surely surprise you.
The Blue Snowball iCE will give the best performance If you are using the Audacity Software which is a free software for PC.
And If you want to sound more professional, you can add a Pop Filter to it, there is a gap to fit a filter to its stand.

The box arrived crushed from one end, being held together by tape (inside the usual courier bag), it’s the tape that Leads me to believe that this damage wasn’t done during shipping, but the box was shipped like this to begin with. fortunately the inner housing was still mostly intact saving the mic.
As for the mic itself, it had a few scratches on it, not a big deal. And worked just fine after plugging in. Quality is great. By far the best USB microphone at this price, no question.

I order on Wednesday and I received the package on Friday (1 day early) so great delivery service again.
So to the mic. It’s the Ice version so doesn’t have the selectable polar patterns, and only has the cardioid pattern which is fine for my needs. Just remember to double check which version your are ordering as it’s easy to make the mistake.
The mic sounds with a really nice crisp tone and is great for my purpose of streaming on twitch and making youtubbe videos. It’s very easy to connect to your pc or mac and it’s really easy to fit on a mic stand like I have in my pic. Doesn’t pic up much background noise either, you may see YouTube vids where people say you need to be close to the mic it’s self to get a good level, in my set up I’m about 1 and half feet away and it picks up my voice with ease and I can be sat very comfitabley in my chair and game and not worry about it.
I streamed for about 90 mins last night and played back the stream and I’m very impressed with the audio quality it just makes the stream sound more professional.
My wife (who is a sound engineer) was sceptical at me using a USB mic as she says I should use an interface and an XLR mic. But I did a quick sound test as soon as I got home and called her in to listen. And she was pleasantly surprised and thought the quality of the audio is very good.
So if you are looking for a good USB mic, for streaming YouTube or just to improve your Skype audio, then go and order this mic, it’s great and most defiantly worth it.

Claims to be compatible with windows 10 but this is a lie. Its near impossible for it to work on window’s 10 as it does not have any driver and snowball does not make drivers for this product. Now its just junk since it cant work without a driver. Hopefully i will return this or see if the snowball website can help. Their FAQ is also just as useless giving a request form as the only solution.
