I have been using VIP cotton brief from many years. But last time when I bought VIP Frenchie, those all got loose very quickly. So, I wanted to try something else.
Firstly, I bought Euro Cotton Brief, and those are okay as well. But then I saw these Rupa Jon cotton brief here on Amazon in Dec, 2019 and price was very reasonable (163/- for 3 2XL)
I ordered these just to see how good or bad these are. When I ordered these, I wasn’t expecting much. But to my surprise these are pretty good.
The cloth is as good and as thick as VIP Frenchie, if not better. These fit perfectly, are comfortable and haven’t got loose yet.
Even though packing could have been better but for the price I bought these for and for the quality of the product, I am giving these 5 stars.
It has only been around 2 months since I am using these, so I’ll update my review if things change.

The stitching of waist elastic went off in first week of use and useless after one month. The product stitching needs much improvement. It is waste of money. Do not buy.

The biggest blunder I have made is to buy this cheap quality brief. The stitches just give away. The fit is right. Not recommended. Underwear must stay at least 2 months, not just 2 days.

i re-ordered this after i liked what i was sent the first time, which is the product as shown in the picture on this page. this time over i was sent a product with this band elastic (see picture i posted). i am not very fond of band elastic because it tends to slacken over a period of time. all elastic will do so, but i think inch-wide band elastic is particularly prone to this or tends to slacken faster than elastic that is incorporated into the cloth like is shown on the product page. i could be wrong and only time will tell. i shall try to update this review in a few months if possible and let you know how the two products compare. that said, i bought this for Rs. 167/- and that i believe is good enough considering how much one was paying for underwear at the local underwear shop (nearly twice as much) and very often for a duplicate VIP or some such brand. if this lasts for a few months, i still get my money’s worth.
Update after a few months of use: Didn’t last very long. It wasn’t the elastic but the the crotch area developed a tear (a hole rather, and flattered though I am, I know better than to post a picture!). To be fair, I do walk for around for an hour everyday, but even so, better quality cloth would stand up to that kind of use for a little longer than just a couple of months, I am inclined to think.

Just before purchasing this product, i had bought from Amazon a set of 3 pieces of JOCKEY but despite other things being pk, its color was not fast and kept on running even after 3 or 4 washing thereby staining other garments in the washing machine but with RUPA JON, everything was satisfactory despite having a lower price

Price is same as printed MRP-so no price benefit.
Product is great for the price-soft combed cotton, colour does not fade with even 10 washes. And comfortable-personal opinion. Fit is as expected.
Elastic does not lose it elasticity soon…will last like 6 months maybe.

Good product. Value for money. But when I wanted to repeat the order they have made the minimum order for 2units. That is 6 briefs. But I don’t need that much. Can Amazon help me order for one unit?
