I received an old product. I initiated an exchange but even that turned out to be an old product. Broken seal, torn box, scratches on steel blade of trimmer, waxed blades and stuck hair follicles! Avoid!

Gran producto, muchas variantes para usar, pelos de la nariz, rebajar barba o cortarla toda, también para los cabellos de ya sabes donde, mi consejo, rebajarlos y después con un rastrillo terminas

Excelente compra, mi primer maquina y me gusto mucho, bello de cuerpo, barba, bigote y cabello. Aunque no es ideal para un rasurado Perfecto porque irrita un poco.

I had the predecessor of this model which I bought 5 years back. It lasted 5 years which I was very happy with. Now, I bought this 2 weeks back.
I shave the hair on my head and trim my beard every 1 week. I use plain blade for my head, and 5,8,13 for my beard.
Have attached my photo to get an idea, don’t be scared 😀
Based on my 2 weeks usage, the battery is good, the head trim was buttery smooth, just took 10 minutes, and the beard trim was absolutely clean. Loved to use it. I really hope this lasts 5 years like it’s Dad.

Good: Charges quickly, body design is ergonomic. Lots of good-to-have attachment
Bad: the body trimming attachment is pathetic. The design itself prevents a smooth coverage. I’ve been using Bg2024/15 model of Phillips and it was very skin friendly. This on the other hand is a pain if you are using for your groin.
Conclusion: Do not buy for body trimming. For facial hair trimming you can get better products of Phillips at half the price. This is an absolute waste of money.

I had kept this item unused ever since purchased /received in Nov’19.
Due to ongoing lockdown situation due to Covid 19 as all barbar shops are closed. Hence I wanted to use this item for my haircut. Unfortunately I find now this to be a defective item as same is not getting charged.
So I request now within the warranty period for immediate return and refund to my amazon pay account in case you can’t give urgent replacement with a genuinely good one.

1. Lubricate the rotor with a clipper lubricant when necessary for a smooth performance
2. Remove the blade’s hair residue after use to avoid clogging the internals
3. Store it in a dry place
4. Do not leave the clipper discharged for a long time to avoid degrading the battery
After reading many negative reviews, I was worried I might receive a used or defective product. Thankfully Amazon delivered a brand new product in an excellent condition. I used the Philips HC5450/15 clipper for 5 years! This clipper is an improvement over it. Hopefully this clipper will last as long as the old clipper.

The amount of power this clipper generates is impressive. The best thing about it is battery life! One single charge gives 4 – 5 uses before the low battery indicator sets in. I mainly use it to trim my beard to the bare minimum every week. I also use it for a hair cut once a month. I no longer use my Gillette Mach 5 razor for shaving unless an occasion demands it. This means I no longer regularly spend money on blades and other shaving stuff. However it is important to use the after shave lotion after using the clipper.
The white gel found on and around the rotor is a lubricant. Beware that one can accidentally press the start button while trying to release the blade! One must careful especially with the main blade. After a year’s use I can tell you that this is a versatile, reliable and effective clipper that renders convenience while saving you time and money! Buen “grip”, no es resbalosa. Pila con bastante autonomía y carga bastante rápido, deja al ras (debes tener paciencia para que lo logre), sus accesorios muy completos. Sirve muy bien para barba y cuerpo. (No he usado los de cabello). Y no lastima la piel…
Es cierto que limpiarla de los cabellos que se meten entre los aditamentos, no es precisamente fácil, pero, tampoco es muy complicado.
Tiene una garantía muy extendida directa con Phillips, de 3 años.
Algunas personas han mencionado que llega usada, no sé si sea el caso, pero, algunos aditamentos vienen con “grasa” blanca para que al embonarlos a la rasuradora, no sea tan fuerte el “click”. A lo mejor es lo que han confundido con “espuma de afeitar”. (La cual se seca en poco tiempo después de salir de la lata, cabe destacar…)
En resumen, muy buena, a buen precio y si lo consigues en oferta, mejor!
