I was looking for a low cost yet sturdy prunner for home gardening. At 155/- it’s most purchased item. It looks beautiful. The green colour is very soothing. The blades are sharp and made of stainless steel. The pivot is good. The spring is well seated, I don’t think it will detach and get lost as many users have complained. If spring is loose then pull the spring to increase the length a bit after removing from the notches then fix it again.
Many users have complained about loose locking mechanism, it can be corrected too. Open wide the blades. push the locking button to lock position, then you will find the screw, see the pictures, tighten a bit and it will be fixed.
Now the negative points that one should consider before purchasing. The plastic handles are soft. The prunner is supposed to work in tough conditions pruning woody branches. The handles might break. Because the plastic is soft the moulding around the blades have gaps and you can feel that the blades are loosely embedded into handles. The blades often pinches thicker 5mm and higher woody branches instead of shearing as the blades deform and create a gap in between in response to applied pressure. It won’t last long if you are going to prune tougher branches on regular basis. At same price you can get very good quality big scissors at local market.

The product is not of Kraft Seeds but from Nature Gold. It is very small. Instead of this one can buy 4 or 5 ordinary scissors for the same price which serve the purpose of cutting small stems and deheadng. The price is also not indicated on the cover.

Just after a brief work its spring came out and vanished. How come the manufacturers make something that makes them gain but the buyers lose and feel sorry for buying this item online! The material seems ok but it totally fails in durability and the way it is assembled lacks expertise and the concern for users.
Now, you have to open and close it manually… thanks to the manufacturers for causing us loss of money and inconvenience. Spares of such online-bought products are difficult to find….
Its lock broke… buying this product is like throwing your money in the dustbin.

The plastic lock (Black one on the right) broke off after just one time of use. Worst product. The plastic is pathetic quality. Spring between the legs to keep it open comes out every now and then. The sharpness of the cutter is decent but clearly, the quality is bad.
Please don’t waste money on this. I don’t know how these bad products are being sold with a label of “Bestseller” on Amazon.

Very small – only good enough to prune small window plants (or bonsai) Don’t expect to use it in a real garden. The spring and lock action is useless. The spring keeps falling out, and the lock blocks the shears open frequently.

This is probably meant to be used by someone who is not much into gardening.
If you are an avid gardener, please stay away!!
Firstly, the shears are not useful in pruning thick or old branches or, twigs.
Secondly, the movement of the shears is difficult to manage. Mind that, there is no spring to bring the shears back into their original position which makes it difficult to use them for a long duration.
Overall, I feel it is better to buy something more expensive but which is of utility and has better functionality.

After few months of use I can tell u it’s a waste of money. I bought two that too. The spring that keeps the shear working is very weak, and once the screw that keeps the spring intact is gone, it won’t cut even a leaf!!
This is so fragile, u can probably just cut twigs with it. The moment u want to cut thicker stem, the screw that keeps spring in place shifts from lock to unlock position. And after a while, that same screw will loosen up making the shear useless.

Why should you buy:
1. Compact size
2. Best for Rose and similar plants
3. Fine build quality
Why you shouldn’t buy:
1. Not good for medium and bigger plants
2. Little bit overpriced
3. Steel attracts rust easily
